A Few Rooted Joys
Color therapy: Navy blue, lilac, and emerald green — colors that feel like calm, clarity, and growth.
I collect African proverbs. Small sentences, big truths. They remind me that wisdom is generational.
Future dog mom: No pets yet, but I’ve got a soft spot for basset hounds. Something about their eyes feels like home.
Seasonal softness: I live for long summer evenings and cozy fall mornings. Light and stillness — I need both.
I reset in the garden. Hands in soil, sun on my shoulders — it’s where I remember I’m allowed to grow slow.
I am a melanated woman shaped by resilience, intention, and the quiet power of choosing myself. My story isn’t polished. It’s lived.
I’ve survived microaggressions in workplaces that wanted my labor but not my voice. I’ve navigated environments where my confidence was called “attitude,” my boundaries were called “difficult,” and my brilliance was minimized until it became undeniable. I’ve rebuilt my life more than once — home, identity, career, and self‑worth — and each time I rose softer, wiser, and more aligned.
Corresponding With Bri was born from that journey.
I created this space for women who have been overlooked, underestimated, or told to shrink. For women who’ve had to work twice as hard for half the recognition. For women who carry both ambition and exhaustion. For women who want their career to reflect their identity, not erase it.
My work blends strategy, clarity, and identity — helping you refine your voice, elevate your presence, and step into opportunities that match your worth. I don’t teach women how to fit into systems that were never built for them. I teach them how to stand in their truth, communicate with intention, and move with the confidence of someone who knows they belong.
I am not here to make you smaller.
I am here to help you expand.
This is more than career development.
This is reclamation.
This is alignment.
This is the next chapter of your story — written with intention, identity, and power.
